This small and rustic cabin was built by Hernan and designed on a Canadian model. It was constructed using collected basalt stones and local timbers to naturally fit in with its surroundings.
On the upper level there is a double bed. The three windows allow the soft light to enter your room as well as provide a beautiful view of the mountain range which marks the border to Chile as well as give the opportunity to watch the condors soar over from their nests in the cliff face of a dead volcano.
The downstairs area includes a bunkbed and the small kitchenette downstairs offers two stove plates and cooking equipment as well as a small fireplace to heat the cabin and keep food warm.
Hot water is provided by a gas boiler, cold water flows from the stream and lights are solar powered. To charge devices, we have 220V in the main house (also solar powered).
We prepare meals ´A La Carte´ which can either be delivered to your cabin or enjoyed at the home restaurant.* Please note that there is no electricity within a 50km radius so cabins do not have refrigeration facilities during the warmer months. You should ensure cold food is therefore correctly stored. Ice packs can be borrowed from the main house.
